Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing Mom & Pop Bay Area for your event entertainment and media services. We are committed to providing professional service and clear communication regarding cancellations, payments, and refunds.
By booking our services, you agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Deposits & Retainers
To reserve your event date, a non-refundable deposit/retainer may be required.
This deposit secures your event date and compensates for scheduling commitments, preparation time, and the possibility of declining other bookings for that date.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
-
Deposits and retainers are non-refundable.
-
Your event date is not guaranteed until payment is received and confirmed.
Final Payments
Final payment deadlines will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice.
Failure to submit final payment by the agreed due date may result in cancellation of services without refund of prior payments.
Client Cancellations
More Than 30 Days Before Event
If a cancellation is made more than 30 days before the scheduled event:
-
Any payments made beyond the non-refundable deposit may be refunded at our discretion, minus any incurred expenses or completed work.
Within 30 Days of Event
If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event:
-
Payments may be partially refundable depending on services already completed, preparation time, staffing commitments, and reserved equipment.
Within 7 Days of Event
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are generally non-refundable.

Clients may request to reschedule their event subject to:
-
