Cancellation Policy

Mom & Pop Bay Area Booking & Deposit A Deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date. Dates are not held until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due shortly before the event starts. ⸻ Cancellations & Rescheduling Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances. If the event is canceled, any payments made beyond the deposit may be: Refunded (if cancellation is 30+ days in advance), or Applied to a rescheduled date within 6 months, subject to availability. Rescheduling is allowed one time without penalty if requested at least 14 days prior. (If date available). ⸻ Event Time & Overtime Service includes the agreed-upon hours listed in the contract. Additional time (overtime) is available at a rate of $300 per hour, payable before or during the event. Overtime is not guaranteed and depends on availability. ⸻ Setup & Breakdown DJ will arrive 90 minutes prior to event start time for setup. Client must ensure safe and accessible setup area. Breakdown begins immediately after contracted end time unless otherwise agreed. ⸻ Venue Requirements Client is responsible for: Adequate power supply (standard outlets within reasonable distance) Shelter/cover for outdoor events (sun, wind, rain protection) Parking and access for equipment unloading WiFi if available is required. ⸻ Music & Requests Clients may submit a playlist and “Do Not Play” list prior to the event. DJ will accommodate requests but maintains control of music flow to ensure a great experience. Explicit music will only be played if approved by the client. ⸻ Equipment & Liability Mom and Pop Bay Area is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to: Power outages Venue restrictions Acts of God (weather, emergencies, etc.) In the rare event of equipment failure, DJ will make every effort to resolve quickly or provide backup. ⸻ Conduct & Safety Mom and Pop Bay Area reserves the right to stop performance if: Guests become aggressive or unsafe Equipment is at risk of damage No refunds will be issued in these situations.
